Serbia is 127th to ratify the Kigali amendment

SERBIA: The Republic of Serbia has become the 127th party to ratify the Kigali Amendment to phase out HFC refrigerants.

As a developing country and a country covered by Article 5 of the Protocol, Serbia must determine its basic consumption from 2020 to 2022; freeze consumption at the level of basic consumption in 2024; 10% reduction in consumption by 2029; 30% reduction in consumption by 2035; 50% reduction in consumption by 2040; 80% reduction in consumption by 2045.
